Whole Group

 rbook pages 178-179 (transparency is on the overhead) following the directions in the teacher's edition.

Rotations

Group 1 - Read 180 -- Independent Reading -- Small Group

Group 2 - Independent Reading -- Small Group -- Read 180

Group 3 - Small Group -- Read 180 -- Independent Reading

For small group - do the worksheet blends (put it on the overhead and have them write the complete sentences on a separate piece of paper)

Read 180 - on the computers -- they may not go on the internet

Independent Reading - they need to read quietly for the entire 20-25 minutes.

After about 20-25 minutes they rotate.  If they rotate quickly and quietly, they can watch Finding Nemo (in my desk right bottom drawer) for the last 10-15 minutes.  If they are noisy and off-task, then don't let them.
