I am a professor of education and former Commissioner of Education for the State of Minnesota. My background is in early childhood education, and I ran an elementary school for homeless children that I founded in 1993. Currently I offer spiritual coaching and life coaching to teachers to make their lives easier and to help them make sense of their challenges as well as their successes. I also offer workshops and give speeches and presentatio,ns to teacher on topics spiritual in nature. One of the ways I support teachers is through my writing, and I have a book published entitled "The Seven Stages of An Enlightened Teacher." I have two more education and spirituality books coming out this year entitled "Bringing Spirit to Life for Teachers" and "Pedagogy of the Spirit." I also sell spiritual jewelry. My husband and I have seven kids ages 7 - 26.
